Agricultural practice
The variety produced is "Akito", a cucumber that is short and spiny. OPTIPLANT® is sprayed onto the leaves when humidity and temperature conditions are optimal. The first applications began 45 days after planting, between 15 May and 14 July 2013, every fortnight at a dose of 3 litres per hectare.
