"The year was particularly wet and everything went smoothly, right through to harvest: the plants stood up well. I'm extremely satisfied with the effectiveness of OPTIPLANT ®. I’ll be using it again next year on my barley and I’ll also apply it on my wheat crops.”

The farmer’s objectives

Employ rational production methods to optimise profitability on his farm.

Agricultural practice

The farm is located in the “les caves” water supply catchment zone in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets (Eure-et-Loire, northern France), which occupies an area of 3,138 Ha. Laurent TREMBLAY also uses OPTIPLANT® to meet the regulatory requirements governing vulnerable zones within the context of the implementation of Agri-Environmental Measures (AEMs) for the protection of water quality. He applies OPTIPLANT® when spraying conditions are optimal, notably when humidity levels are high: "The plant is particularly receptive when humidity is above 70%. In general, I apply OPTIPLANT® in the early morning. OPTIPLANT® is now part of my crop management programme to reflect my determination to adopt a sustainable development approach while complying with new environmental constraints (TFI)."
